PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a moving state detecting apparatus and a moving state detecting system which detect the moving state of an intra-subject introducing device for a capsule type endoscope or the like in the body of a subject. SOLUTION: A moving state deriving apparatus 8 which is provided in this moving state detecting device is equipped with a selection controlling section 24a which performs a selection control of three receiving antennas 7 of a high receiving strength from among receiving antennas 7a to 7h, a position deriving section 24c which derives the position of the capsule type endoscope from the receiving strength in the selected receiving antennas 7 over a plurality of different times, and a capsule position storage section 28 which stores derived position information. Also, the moving state deriving section 8 is equipped with a state judging section 24d which derives a position changing rate of the capsule type endoscope from the position information which is stored in the capsule position storage section 28, and performs the judgement of the moving state based on the derived position changing rate.
