PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic system for seats, which improves the transmission of sound and disperses sound over a wide range by detracting neither a realistic sensation nor a good sitting comfort. SOLUTION: The acoustic system includes a seat back pad 12 which is provided with a box fitting opening 24 at an appropriate position and is assembled on a seat back frame 11 to form the outline of the seat, an acoustic unit 13 which is integrated in the box fitting opening 24, and a seat back trim cover assembly 14 which covers the acoustic unit 13. The acoustic unit 13 is placed at the back side of at least one of speakers 26, 27, 27 and stores and holds them, provided with an opening at the front side of the seat back pad 12, and is composed of a storing box 28 which is fitted in the box setting opening 24 of the seat back pad 12 and a transmission cushion 30 which is placed in front of the speakers 26, 27, 27 and held by the storing box 28 to transmit sound to the human body side.
