<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of preventing optical parts in a chassis from being damaged when a light emitting body is burst, and also, capable of cooling the light emitting body. <P>SOLUTION: In the projector, a light source is constituted of a frame body 1 freely attachably/detachably attached to the chassis 3 and a light source 2 housed in the frame body 1, and the opening part of the recessed edge part of the reflector 25 is closed with a transparent member 33, and a notch 28 communicating with the inside and the outside of the reflector 25 is formed at the recessed edge part of the reflector 25, and a notched part 27 communicating with the inside and the outside of the reflector 25 through a gap between a shaft body positioned on the base end side of the light emitting body 20 and the reflector 25 is formed on a supporting piece 26, then, a channel for cooling the light emitting body 20 is formed by the notch 28 of the reflector 25 and the notched part 27 of the supporting piece 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
