<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables printing to be surely done on the backside of paper, when duplex printing is manually performed. <P>SOLUTION: When performing the printing on the other side of the paper after the completion of the printing on one side of the paper, the image forming apparatus performs the manual duplex printing in which a user feeds the paper. The image forming apparatus comprises: a display means for displaying a message giving the user instructions on the printing on the other surface, after the completion of the printing on one side and the ejection of the paper; a control means for paper feeding instructions, in accordance with the instructions on the printing on the other surface by the user; and a printing means for performing the printing on the other side by feeding the paper from a prescribed paper feeding means in accordance with the instructions on paper feeding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
