摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent which can assure high flexibility and radiation bearing capacity, enhance vasodilation, and suppress fore shortening and flare phenomena. <P>SOLUTION: In a stent 1 which is formed in an approximate tubular body and can extend from the inside of the tubular body to a radial direction, (1) a cell 6 is connected and composed of a flexural area 12 which can extend two struts. (2) A connection part 5 which connects the cell 6 has an approximate U-shape with the flexural area 12 and is formed by an arc with a specific curvature radius R. (3) Such connection part 5 holds the approximate U-shaped form after extension substantially. (4) The proportion of whole length of the connection part 5 to the length of a stent axial direction C2 of the cell 6 is formed sufficiently and greatly so that the ratio is set from 0.9 to 1.3. While maintaining radial force highly, flexibility is given to the stent 1 itself. (5) In the arrangement of the cell 6 and the connection part 5, a spatial section S needed for reducing a diameter is formed and intervention is prevented when reducing a cell diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
