PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device involving needlessness for storing the change pattern of the electric wave intensity in advance and capable of presuming certainly the wheel positions even if tires and/or wheels having different shapes and materials are mounted. SOLUTION: The tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device is equipped with a transmitter mounted on the wheel and transmitting the sensed tire pneumatic pressure information in the form of radio signal waves together with the tire ID number given inherently, a receiver mounted on the vehicle body and receiving the radio signal waves transmitted from the transmitter, and a tire ID number registering means to presume the position of each wheel on the basis of the received waves given by the receiver and register the tire ID number in each wheel position, wherein the tire ID number registering means presumes the wheel position from which the radio signal waves are transmitted on the basis of the degree of correlation between the electric wave intensity and the tire rotating angle.
