PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible segment capable of being applied to a buried pipe including pipe lines of service water, sewage and others buried in the ground, absorbing stress such as bending, torsion, etc. and displacement and stress such as bending, torsion, etc. occurring in the case of earthquake and displacement and ensuring the safety of the buried pipe lines. SOLUTION: The flexible segment has a pair of main rings 2 and 2 and a rubber ring 3 placed between the main rings 2 and 2, the rubber ring 3 is equipped with flange sections 7 providing circumferential grooves 10 on the upper face of the base end and the central part 8 projected in the shape of a square cross section between the flange sections and forming a circumferential recess section 9 in the inside, and the rubber ring 8 fixes the flange sections 7 to main rings 2 with a fixing means 16 in a state to fit main girders 5b of the main rings 2 to the circumferential grooves 10 of the flange sections 7.
