PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet ray measuring and warning device and a writing tool with an ultraviolet ray measuring alarm easily attached to a wear, an accessory or a human body, when going out to an outdoor field irradiated with an ultraviolet ray, and capable of issuing notification to a carrying person when detecting a prescribed intensity or more of ultraviolet ray harmful to the human body, or a prescribed amount or more of ultraviolet ray accumulated exposed dosage. SOLUTION: This device is provided with the ultraviolet ray measuring alarm 35 provided with an ultraviolet sensor 11, an exposed dosage integrating means for calculating the accumulated exposed dosage, based on an output from the ultraviolet sensor 11, an ultraviolet intensity warning means for issuing an alarm when the exposed ultraviolet intensity comes to a prescribed level or more, and/or an exposed dosage warning means for issuing an alarm when the exposed accumulated exposed dosage comes to a prescribed value or more, and the writing tool comprising a writing tool body 31 and a cap 32 comprising a material transmitting the ultraviolet ray, and the ultraviolet ray measuring alarm 35 is attached to a top part of the writing tool body 31.
