PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition that has small temperature dependency of viscosity, particularly the temperature dependency of the viscosity at a low temperature and is excellent in usability. SOLUTION: The detergent composition is prepared by combining an anion surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant and one or two or more of oleum represented by the formula (1), wherein R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group of 4-22C or a polyhydric alcohol residue having 3-6 hydroxy groups and n is an integer of 40 or more.
