The extension balcony (1) has a floor around the edge of which is a frame profile forming a water drainage channel. A water inlet box (10) leading to the frame profile (2) projects from the frame profile to the side, and in the fitted position extends between the frame of the balcony door (9) and the frame profile, and has a cover surface which is installed flush with the upper side of the frame profile and/or balcony floor (3). The water inlet box has a drainage inclination which guides the water in the direction of an opening in the frame profile. An independent claim is included for a frame profile for an extension balcony, which has a L-shaped construction and has a number of hollow profile segments, the lower one being a water drainage channel.
