<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic video image display device which can display all video image information for left and right eyes which cannot be realized in a conventional glass-less stereoscopic video image display device without using a time-division system. <P>SOLUTION: When a video image signal for the left eye and a video image signal for the right eye are displayed by dividing into the odd-numbered line or the even-numbered line of a stereoscopic synthetic signal; a video image display signal alternately changes the arrangement so that the one line is made as the video image signal for the other eye, and the other line is made as the video image signal for the one eye. Subsequently, the image is displayed with the one line as the video image signal for the one eye, and with the other line as the video image signal for the other eye. Thus, the arrangement of the lines is alternately changed in the image display signal.
