<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition that can fix a high quality image rapidly at a low temperature and is excellent in offset resistance and in blocking resistance, and to provide an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains a dispersion medium and a charged particle containing at least a coloring matter, wherein the charged particle contains at least one sort of a copolymer having a polyester structure at its side chain and a polymer having a liquid crystalline structure.
