<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of quality monitoring without imposing an excess load on a network and overlooking deterioration in the quality even when a plurality of bottle necks are estimated and independence in quality variations in each block in the E2E cannot be assumed. <P>SOLUTION: The technology covering features (simplicity and accuracy) of the existing technology are provided by providing a contrivance such that a passive measurement means 1b monitors a MIB information base wherein the effect on services by measurement is less under the estimation of presence of a plurality of bottle necks, an E2E quality deterioration discrimination means 1d estimates E2E quality to discriminate the presence of deterioration, a deteriorated location specifying means 1e specifies a deteriorated location, and information obtained aperiodically by the E2E quality measurement or the like by a test packet by an active measurement means 1a is utilized to correct the estimation of the E2E quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
