PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state laser device which can give an effective influence to an optical characteristic by giving a small change in temperature to an etalon. SOLUTION: Assuming that the refractive index of an etalon 5 is n, the temperature dispersion of the refractive index n is dn/dt, the coefficient of linear expansion isα, a laser oscillation wavelength isλ, and a vertical mode interval isδλ; the etalon 5 is made of a material satisfying a relationship of 0<n×δλ/[(n×α+dn/dt)×λ]≤4. Even if the laser oscillation wavelength varies due to a secular change or the like, the temperature of the etalon is slightly changed to stabilize a laser. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
