PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch for construction capable of reducing production cost as much as possible and improving efficiency of voltage detection. SOLUTION: A voltage detection part 60 of the switch for construction 11 is prepared on peripheral surfaces of power supply side bushings 23 and load side bushing 24 so that the detection part 60 faces an electric pole P side, that is side face of the opposite side of an operation handle 22 of the switch for construction 11 when it is mounded on the pole. Facing the detection part 60 to the electric pole P during the switch is mounted on the pole facilitate voltage detecting work such like bringing a detecting part of a detector in contact with the detection part 60. And this eliminates the necessity for a worker to work behind the operation handle 22 of the switch for construction 11 with bending the body backward on a scaffold prepared separately.
