PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film-shaped occupant detection sensor superior in structural flexibility. SOLUTION: A first and a second flexible insulating films 1, 6 of nearly the same shape with each other have a plurality of sensor parts 1a, 6a and coupling parts 1b, 6b to be sequentially coupled with these, first and second wiring pattern layers 2, 7 on respective insulating films have a plurality of first, second contact point cells and first, second wiring parts between the cells which mutually have the approximately identical shape and are arranged on the sensor parts and the coupling parts, a spacer 3 between the first-the second insulating films has a through-hole 4 opposed to the plurality of pairs of respective first and second contact point cells. A plurality of switch cells S1 to S9 constituted of the sensor parts of the respective insulating films and the plurality of pairs of first and second contact point cells are arranged so as to constitute a plurality of rows of switch rows L1 to L3 having the plurality of switch cells per a row, and these plurality of rows of the switch cell rows are incorporated and arranged in a zigzag pattern.
