PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of establishing compatibility between protection of the copyright of its owner and ease of use by the user. SOLUTION: A control section 8 can protect the copyright, by avoiding image data from being stored in a memory card 7 or externally transmitted, when there is the possibility of losing the copyright of the owner applied to the image data on the basis of a television signal, while giving facilities to a user of a mobile terminal.
