PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which has a small-sized and inexpensive constitution, and effectively reduces moire, and records images of high quality, and also to provide an electronic apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes; an imaging element 111 which is provided with a plurality of light receiving elements 101 arrayed like a matrix and converts incident light Lin to an image signal; and a low pass filter 110 provided in the incidence side of the imaging element 111. The low pass filter 110 has a prism group consisting of prism elements provided with at least a refracting face, and the refracting face refracts the incident light to a prescribed direction.
