PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-foaming resin particle capable of obtaining a foamed resin molded body with less generation of creaking sound, and its production method. SOLUTION: Paraffin wax and an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin are deposited on at least a surface of the pre-foamed foaming resin particle to obtain the pre-foaming resin particle. The pre-foaming resin particle is obtained by mixing the paraffin wax and the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin while the foaming resin particle is pre-foamed at a predetermined expansion temperature and depositing the paraffin wax and the ethylene-vinyl acetate resin on at least a surface of the pre-foamed foaming resin particle.
