PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving cycle property by improving stability of a solvent, and to provide an electrolyte used for the same. SOLUTION: An anode 22 contains a single body, an alloy or a compound of a metal element, or a single body, an alloy or a compound of a semi-metal element capable of storing and releasing lithium. Electrolyte solution with electrolyte salt dissolved in a solvent is impregnated in a separator 23. The solvent contains fluorocarboxylic ester as a low-viscosity solvent together with a high-dielectric constant solvent.
