PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail of a passenger conveyor allowing shortening of a remodeling construction period by diverting an outer plate of an existing passenger conveyor by incorporating a deck plate for closing a gap generated between the diverted outer plate and a corner deck to be an extension part of an outer deck of a newly provided passenger conveyor. SOLUTION: This handrail is provided with the deck plate 4 for closing the gap generated between an upper end part of the outer plate 1 of the existing passenger conveyor and a lower end part of the corner deck 3 to be the extension part of the outer deck 2 of the newly provided passenger conveyor. As a result, the outer plate 1 can be diverted without affecting the outer plate 1, and the remodeling construction is made possible for a short period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
