PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package weight management system capable of easily and reliably managing weight of a package container housing articles, especially, capable of improving efficiency and reliability on inspection of the number of arrived goods and capable of facilitating loading weight management of a truck. SOLUTION: The system for inspecting the number of arrived goods on the basis of weight and for managing loading weight in truck transportation by fitting an IC tag 1 to a package container W housing a plurality of articles w is provided with a weight measuring means 5 for measuring weight of the package container W housing articles, a weight writing means 6 for writing the measured weight in the IC tag 1, and a weight reading and comparing means for reading the IC tag 1 of each of the package containers W of a pallet-like article loading body 11 for utilization. As the weight reading and comparing means, an arrived good number inspecting means 24 is provided in the delivery center 23, and a truck loading weight managing means 15 in delivery is provided in the factory 2.
