PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smell absorbing tool which can quickly adsorb smell accompanying crepitus, evacuation, etc. and can effectively deodorize it. SOLUTION: The tool is composed by tensing a cloth-like body 2 with gas permeability containing active carbon in a frame body 3 with stiffness and is moved with a slow speed mechanically or by manual operation in air. Also, the cloth-like body 2 is formed of a carbon fiber or an activated carbon fiber and is moved with a slow speed in air. By this slow speed transfer, a smell, which drifts in air, is made to adsorb onto the cloth-like body 2 as it is held and deodorization is carried out quickly and effectively. The tool can be used for deodorization of an organic stink in all places such as not only the insides of a toilet and an aged person nursing institution or a hospital but also general homes and works.
