摘要 Identifying polymers in mixtures, in which the presented polymers are broken down into fragments and evidence for these fragments are studied and further a catalogue of the polymers is drawn up, is new. - Identifying polymers in mixtures, in which a quantity of polymers is submitted for identification, in which further the presented polymers are broken down into fragments and evidence for these fragments are studied and further a catalogue of the polymers is drawn up. A sequence of polymer combinations of the polymers specified in the catalogue is formed and at least two polymer combinations emerge which contain a different number of polymers as constituents. At least one part-sequence of the polymer combinations are obtained by the step-wise maximizing or minimizing of a specifiable function g, which is dependent on the observed evidence of the polymer combinations formed from the catalogue polymers. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for the identification of proteins.
