The unit includes a filter element (34) through which the sealant flows before emerging from the end (14) of the second compressed air line (12). The filter at least covers the flow cross section of this air line. Details of its mounting are provided. The filter is a sieve (34) with mesh 50 mu m to 1.5 mm, and is made of corrosion resistant material.
