The conversion of vehicle hood material for reutilisation comprises separation of the elastomer, metal and textile components from the old vehicle. Also claimed is a process using the resulting material. CLAIMED PROCESS - The process comminutes and homogenises the separated textile, and employs it as a surface cleaning and liquid absorption material.
