A chassis for a low floor bus comprising two longitudinal chassis beams 34,36 and a front wheel arch portion, wherein each chassis beam has a front portion 42 extending forward of the front wheel arch portion and a back portion 44 extending rearward of the front wheel arch portion, the front and rear chassis beam portions being substantially coaxial and spaced apart from each other along the axis, the front and rear chassis beam portions being structurally connected by a wheel arch structure 50 extending above and laterally outwards of the respective chassis beams. |
