Preparation of reduced coenzyme Q 10comprises reducing an oxidized coenzyme Q 10oily product in water and then removing the aqueous phase. An independent claim is also included for the preparation of reduced coenzyme Q 10as an oil comprising distilling off an organic solvent at the melting point of the reduced coenzyme Q 10or higher and then removing the aqueous phase.
