A sealed battery where an opening (2a) of a battery case (2) is sealed by an opening-sealing member, with an insulation gasket (7) provided between the battery case and the opening- sealing member, or by an opening-sealing unit (8). The opening-sealing unit (8) is constructed by staking the opening-sealing member in a filter (9) with an inner gasket (10) between the opening-sealing member and the filter. A sheet-like gasket (16) is provided on the opening-sealing member, and an opening (2a) of the battery case (2) is staked inward. This results that the opening is sealed by an insulation gasket (7) and the sheet-like gasket (16) or by the insulation gasket, the sheet-like gasket (16), and an inner gasket (10). The sealing is made with sufficient compression allowance provided. |
