An image forming apparatus includes developing devices (1K,1Y,1M,1C) for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an image bearing member (28) at a developing portion (P1); a rotatable member (18) supporting the developing devices, the rotatable member being rotatable along a path through the developing portion (P1); a first developer supply container (17) and a second developer supply container (16), supported on the rotatable member, for supplying developer into the respective first developing device (1Y,1M,1C) and second developing device (1K); wherein the developer in the first developer supply container (17) is fed along internal ribs (17d) and using rotation of the rotatable member (18), whereas the developer in the second developer supply container (16) is fed by a stirrer (7) and without using rotation of the rotatable member. |
