<p>The invention relates to a method and an installation for clarifying water within the drinking water treating plants and the domestic and industrial waste water purifying plants. According to the invention, the method consists in clarifying the water by using a series of upward and downward platelike modules, by forming a suspension layer within a platelike module, based on a suspension clarification process, the clarification following to be finished by a platelike clarifying process. The claimed installation comprises a series of upward and downward platelike modules (1, 2 and 3) having an inclination angle of 45...65 in relation to the horizontal plane, said modules comprising some tubes wherein the plates are introduced, an untreated water supply conduit (9) provided with a valve (10), the excess slurry being discharged through a conduit (4) provided with a valve (5) and the clarified water being collected through a clarifying module (8) provided with a conduit (6) whereto a valve (7) is mounted.</p> |
