The swing hatch cover (2), especially for an armored fighting vehicle, is on a hinged mounting at the hatch opening (1.2) in the housing (1). A number of locks (3.1-3.4) are distributed around the edge of the cover to work with lock units (4.1-4.8) at the rim of the hatch opening. The cover locks are mounted to a sliding component within a guide (8) around the cover edge, with a longitudinal sliding movement when operated by a lever (5) to move them simultaneously between locked and released settings.
