The invention is intended to be used for fusing of the threads (4) after the operation in which the buttons have been sewn onto the garment (5) and other textile products, on the one hand to the threads which hold the buttons and on the other hand to the surrounding textile material (6). A strip of plastic film has a surface coating (14) on one side (13) consisting of silicon, paraffin or similar, which prevents the strip (1) of plastic film from becoming stuck when fusion is brought about by a heated welding horn (2), which, with a predetermined surface area and size, is pressed down against the surface-coated strip (1) of plastic film that is in contact with the textile material (6) and thus causes the textile threads to fuse together but not to become stuck to the fusion horn (2). |
