An anchoring and sealing component of a device for repairing abdominal aortic aneurysms comprises attached bifurcated legs for increasing the column strength thereof. The bifurcated legs comprise staggered stents s o that nesting is possible during delivery. Additional struts may be added to increase the stiffness of the bifurcated legs.
