FIELD: medicine, otorhinolaryngology. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with surgical treatment of patients with chronic highmoroethmoiditis. In the course of highmorotomy one should prelance anterior group of ethmoidal cells, moreover, a hamate process should be kept to be intact. Then one should widen natural maxillary opening being backwards ranged 0.3-0.6 cm along a semi-channel. The innovation enables to provide adequate sanitation of affected cells of ethmoidal labyrinth, restore ventilation and drainage of maxillary sinuses and, also, prevent cicatricial alterations in area of osteo-meatal complex. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 1 ex |
