FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying sludge mud magnetophoresis beginning from the second adaptation day. The mud is enriched with mineral hydrogen sulfide water with hydrogen sulfide concentration of 350 mg/l every other day. Treatment session is 20 min long with reflexosegmental zones of vegetative heart innervation pretreated with 30% dimexide solution being acted. The zones are restricted with vertical lines passing along internal boundary of the left scapula and along vertebral column spinous processes line and restricted with horizontal lines, one passing at the level of VI cervical vertebra being upper boundary and at the IV thoracic vertebra level as lower boundary. Inductors are transversely arranged in rotating magnetic field. Treatment intensity is equal to 30 mTesla units. Impulse succession frequency is 25 Hz. General hydrogen sulfide water baths are prescribed beginning from the fifth day. The general hydrogen sulfide water baths with hydrogen sulfide concentration of 50-150 mg/l are given in exertional angina pectoris cases of the first functional class, the concentration being 50-100 mg/l in the second functional class exertional angina pectoris cases. Water temperature is 36°C and a procedure is 6-15 min long. The total treatment course is 10 physio- and 8 balneoprocedures long. ^ EFFECT: increased adaptive capabilities of organism; normalized lipid metabolism and lipid peroxidation indices; enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of ischemic disease complications. ^ 12 tbl
