FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves determining initial cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) level in mononuclear cells taken from peripheral leprosy patient blood. The mononuclear cells are incubated with Lepronin taken in 20 mcg/l concentration and mononuclear cell cAMP level is determined in 0.5, 2, 20 and 24 h during the incubation. Leprosy form is determined from dynamic cAMP level changes pattern in time. ^ EFFECT: high accuracy and information capacity; enhanced effectiveness in differentiating both polar and dimorphous leprosy forms. ^ 6 dwg, 6 tbl
