The first ply (P1) has zones (A 1) forming cells with cavities (12) surrounded by zones (A 2) with further cavities (18). Zones A 1are in relief on the external face with respect to zones A 2, with a difference in level (Na). The first zones (A 1) have a contour (D) formed by a marking line. Depth of the first cavities (12) is up to that of the second cavities, further increased by the difference in level. Non-embossed third zones (A 3) lie between the second zones (A 2). The second cavities (18) are at least partially-aligned with the contour (D). The first cavities are truncated-conical. The first zones (A 1) include third cavities (20) with a peak having a linear shape. The second ply is not embossed. Alternatively it is, and has protuberances, the two plies being in contact at the peaks corresponding with the second cavities. The plies are connected by an adhesive deposit on the peaks of the second protuberances. The first protuberances are not adhered. An independent claim is included for equipment making the paper towel. |
