Disclosed are sulphonamide derivative compounds of formula (I), wherein; A is a heteroaromatic ring of 5-6 members containing 1 or 2 heteroatoms selected from O, N or S, optionally substituted by 1 or 2 halogens, an alkyl radical or phenyl or a heteroaryl with 5-6 members containing 1 or 2 atoms of O, N or S. R1 is H, alkyl or benzyl, n is 0-4, R2 is -NR4R5 or a heterocyclic or heterobicyclic ring containg N and optionally O, R3, R4 and R5 are independently H or alkyl. The compounds are used in the manufacture of medicaments for the treatment of anxiety, depression, cognitive memory disorders and dementia.
