FIELD: construction, particularly to prevent icicle formation on sloping and conditionally flat roofs, as well as existent metal roofing reconstruction. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves creating water-tight flange of impervious material at lower edge of eaves gutter, wherein the flange may be made as conventional wall gutter; forming dosing orifices for snow water droplets removal from roof in lower connection points thereof. ^ EFFECT: decreased snow water heat losses during gravity flow thereof towards outer drain system along with decreased ice formation on eaves gutter surface, prevention of initial icicle creation on lower horizontal eaves gutter edge under normal thermal-physic processes and decreased icicle formation in the case of organized outer water flow conversion into non-organized water flow over eaves gutter edge under adverse thermal-physic processes. ^ 25 cl, 11 dwg
