FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed double-flow gas-turbine engine consists of primary loop including compressor, combustion chamber, turbine, and secondary loop containing fan, mixer with jet nozzle and control system. Fan is connected with electric motor and engine shaft by overrunning clutch whose adjustment defines lower limit of fan speed control. Control system is made for independent control of both loops at forward and reverse thrust. Reverse thrust conditions can be provided by changing sense of rotation of fan. ^ EFFECT: increased reliability of engine, dispensing with complex reverse system in form of flaps or buckets, prevention of getting of foreign particles inside owing to change of direction of jet. ^ 1 dwg |
