METHOD OF FORMING COAT FROM MELT ON SURFACES OF CYLINDRICAL ARTICLES

FIELD: treatment of surfaces of articles; smooth distribution of coat of preset thickness over surfaces of cylindrical articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes motion of article with coat in vortex flow of fluid medium enclosed in vortex chamber in precession mode of vortex flow axis and axis of article relative to axis of vortex chamber. Vortex flow is directed along axis of chamber simultaneously towards article and in way of motion of article; ratio of components of flow and/or their magnitudes is changed till coat of required thickness has been obtained. ^ EFFECT: possibility of obtaining smooth coat of required thickness; extended field of thicknesses of coats. ^ 2 dwg
