PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing paper conveying device capable of controlling a press-contacting roller which does not give sudden load fluctuation to printing paper which is being exposed. SOLUTION: The printing paper conveying device includes a 1st exposure driving roller and a 1st exposure press-contacting roller arranged on an upstream side in the conveying direction of an exposure head so as to press-contact and convey the photographic paper at the exposure time, and a 2nd exposure driving roller and a 2nd exposure press-contacting roller arranged on a downstream side of the exposure head. It further comprises a cam mechanism including a 1st rotating cam body to determine the displacing position of the 1st exposure press-contacting roller and a cam control means to control the rotational angle of the 1st rotating cam body. An inclined surface to displace the 1st exposure press-contacting roller from a press-contacting position to a fine press-contacting releasing position is formed on the 1st cam body, and displacing speed of the 1st exposure press-contacting roller from the press-contacting position to the fine press-contacting releasing position is determined by controlling the rotational angle of the 1st rotating cam body.
