PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt composition which exhibits equal or superior performances to conventional ones even when the mixing temperature or the application temperature of the mixture for asphalt paving is lowered. SOLUTION: The asphalt composition is obtained by incorporating a polyolefin wax having a molecular weight of at most 6,500 and a softening point of 140°C or lower with a vacuum residue, and has a penetration at 25°C of 30-90 (1/10 mm).
