A motor pump includes at least one impeller (11) fixed to a pump shaft (10) extending from a motor shaft (41) and at least one casing (1, 2) which houses the impeller. The motor pump further includes a pump head (3) configured to seal an open end of the casing hermetically, a bearing (49) held by the pump head (3) for supporting the main shaft (4) rotatably, a bearing plate (52) provided adjacent to the bearing (49), and a liquid-removing member (53) mounted on the main shaft and located in the opposite direction of the bearing with respect to the bearing plate.
