The invention relates to a street light arrangement comprising an illuminating housing, a fluorescent lamp and a fluorescent lamp ballast which comprises, in addition to the igniting device, a dimmer which can be control a plurality of different dimmer states. The fluorescent lamp ballast is arranged in the illuminating housing of a traditional fluorescent lamp ballast comprising an igniting device or the dimmer is added to previously traditional fluorescent lamp ballasts, comprising only an ignition device. The inventive fluorescent lamp ballast is connected to the fluorescent lamp and the energy supply cable by means of existing connections. |
