Absorption characteristics adjusting method for vibration absorber of vehicle, involves estimating absolute vertical speed of the body and speed of deflection of suspension by filters during operation of vehicle

The method involves fastening a vibration absorber (10) and a suspension (14) arranged parallel to the absorber at a body of a vehicle (12). An absolute vertical speed of the body and a speed of deflection of the suspension are estimated by filters during operation of the vehicle. The filters use a mathematical model for estimating information about non-linear characteristics of the absorption processes. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with a vibration absorber.
