A connecting flange (12) for a handling system fits on a main body (11). A folding roller (13) rotating on an axle (14) fits on an end opposite the connecting flange. The axle links to the main body via an axle connection (15). Eight extendable measuring strips (16) fit between the axle connection and the folding roller. The extendable measuring strips are combined in first (17) and second (18) sensors in the form of a Wheatstone bridge circuit. An independent claim is also included for a device for flanging border edges of a work piece by roll-folding with a folding tool.
