<p>The toothbrush device (10) has a handle (12) with an electric motor (14) disposed therein. An elongate extension (24) is in operative engagement with the electric motor (14). An end portion (26) is attached to the elongate extension (24). A brush unit (30) is attached to the end portion (26). The brush unit (30) has bristles (32) attached to an elongate rotatable member (33). The bristles (32) are attached at inner ends to the periphery of the elongate rotatable member (33) with end portions of the bristles (32) at said inner ends directed in a substantially radial direction outwards from the periphery of said elongate rotatable member (33). The brush unit can also be mounted to a handle to form a manual toothbrush device.</p> |
