A system, method and program product for discovering gene regulatory models using relational fuzzy models. A system is providing that includes a data selection system that clusters gene expression data into a set of clusters and identifies a representative subset of genes from the set of clusters; and a relational fuzzy modeling system that builds a relational fuzzy model using the representative subset.
